  • Brian boards a plane to visit his dad in Canada
  • I don't know how to fly the plane and the pilot is dead.
  • Brian builds a shelter and makes a fire
  • A moose cow attacks Brian
  • Brian is a thirteen-year-old boy, and his parents were divorced. He boarded a small plane to visit his dad in Canada and on the way the pilot teaches him how to fly the plane. Later the pilot has a heart attack and dies. Brian is left alone to fly the plane. But the engine fails and dies, and the plane crashes in the wilderness.
  • Brian hit by a tornado
  • After crash landing in the wilderness Brian builds a shelter under the ledge with the branches and leaves. With the help of the hatchet, he makes up a fire so that, he is safe from wild animals and the fire also help him cook fish and keeps him warm in the night.
  • Brian recovers the survival pack from the plane
  • After catching a fool bird with the help of a bow and an arrow, Brian was cleaning the bird in the lake water when all of a sudden, a moose cow attacked him and tried to drown him. With great difficulty Brian saved himself and was able to reach his shelter.

  • A far-off roar awakens Brian in the middle of the night. Suddenly, a tornado pounds down on him, slamming him on the side of the shelter. The tornado departs as quickly as it had arrived, leaving Brian out in the open, his shelter and fire destroyed but It raises the plane to the surface of the water.

  • Brian with the help of his hatchet was able to enter the plane and recovers a survival pack. In the morning Brian opens the survival pack and finds many useful items, including a sleeping bag, a foam sleeping pad, a cook set, matches, lighters, a knife, a compass, a first-aid kit, a cap, and a fishing kit and a transmitter. He pressed the buttons on the transmitter, but nothing happened. He thought it is broken during the crash.
  • When Brian was preparing food from the food cans a plane landed near his shelter. The man immediately recognized Brian as the missing boy. He took him back to the civilization. Brian spent 54 days alone in the wilderness. During that time, he lost 17% of his body fat. The press was writing about him a lot for a while but within a few months everything went back to normal. The experience of being alone in the wilderness changed the life of Brian forever. Many of the changes Brian underwent in the wilderness seem permanent, such as his observant and thoughtful nature, and food never loses its wonder for him.
