- The American Revolution started in 1765. The war was between the British and the Patriots. The American Revolution ended in 1783, when General Charles Cornwallis surrendered his troops in Yorktown, Virginia.

- The Articles of Confederation lasted for four years. The Articles of Confederation ended on March 1, 1789.
- Principles of the Constitution
- They have too much power this is not good.
- In Shay's Rebellion there was a series of lots of violent attacks. Most attacks were on courthouses and other government property's in Massachusetts.

- The strongest branch of the United States government is the Judicial Branch.
- The Constitutional Convention took place from May 14 to September 17, 1787. The point of this event was to decide how America was going to be governed. Delegates met to give Congress more power, and some delegates wanted a republic.

The principals are important because they make sure that our government will not be too powerful and that it will not be able to take our rights away from us too easily.
