- Hermes is born
- He sees the outside
- Hermes steals Apollos cattle
- Hermes is born from Zeus and Maia
- Hermes steals the cattle 
- Hermes leaves his cave home and  sees a turtle and uses its shell to make a lyre
- Apollo enters 
- while out of his cave he sees 50 cattle that he somehow knows its Apollos
- peace 
- He puts 48 in his cave and eats two 
- Apollo confronts Hermes about stealing his cattle and goes to Zeus when he doesn't answer
- Zeus demands Apollo and Hermes have peace so Hermes gives Apollo his Lyre in return for the cattle
