- His son, Edward VI, became king when being 9 years old. His adult advisers were protestants, so new reforms were introduced to the English Church. Edward died 6 years later.
- Henry’s daughter, Mary, took the throne in 1533 and returned the English Church to the Pope. She executed many protestants.
- Finally Elizabeth, Anne Boleyn’s daughter, became queen of England, restoring Protestantism in 1559. She gave religious freedom to Catholics and made new laws.
