- Marcelo H. Del Pilar essay "Be Careful" is a true reflection of the criticism that showed the condition of the Philippines during the spanish era.It is revealed how the friars have used the name of our God for their own benefit . One of them is Padre Jose Rodriguez, a truly respected and powerful friar who has a book called "Be Careful" that says Filipinos should only follow his preaching and not read other books because by following him you can be sure that heaven is his eternal glory. Father Jose released two booklets with the aim of discrediting Dr. Jose Rizal; one is a translation in Tagalog and the others is in Spanish and if we read it we will realized Father Jose complete envy of Dr. Rizal

Those who are expected to teach the word of God are those pretending to be Christ's successors who are the instigators of violation of Christ and nothing is traded inside the church.
