- On initial boarding we find an overturned bus withseveral victims on the roadway and others trapped inside the bus, for this atriage of all patients requesting care must be performed. The senior emergency medical technicianshould triage and classify the patients according to the triage color code
- 1. Black: does not respond to any stimulus.
- 2. Red: life-threatened,only breathing and does not obey orders.
- 3. Yellow: urgent, speaks without difficulty and obeyssimple commands.
- 4. Green: can walk and is oriented in all 5 senses.
- Attention to the patient:1. Breathing has a pulse and obeys commands 2. Weobserve a femur fracture
- 3. Patientpresenting with leg pain 4. Weimmobilize the injured part 5. Wetransport quickly to an assistance unit.
