- In Democracy the people vote on who is going to lead, ruled by many. Example: United States

- Central Government
- In Autocracy the people don't get a vote or choice of who gets to lead, ruled my one. Example: North Korea
- Confederation
- I also govern my own state.
- We all govern our own state.
- In a oligarchy the government is ruled by many(example:China). In an anarchy the government is ineffective.(example:Yemen).
- Federal
- I'm the president of the United States, I share my power with 50 states.
- One system of government is Unitary, all power is not shared. Example: Canada
- I do not share the power of this government.
- I govern my own state.
- In the confederation system there is a weak central government, states often have more power then central government Example:Confederate States of America

- In a federal system the government shares its power with states and provinces. Example: United States
