Storyboard-Text

  • Raya’s attitude is getting worse, don’t you think?
  • Dana suggested an idea that was different from our ideas presented in the class earlier, and Raya immediately shut her down. Cloe told Raya to give Dana the chance to speak because her idea might make a big contribution to their group, but Raya told them that it’s wrong because Dana’s idea was different from our ideas. (Appeal to Popular)
  • Why? What happened?
  • After how many minutes of arguing about whether to let Dana share her ideas or not, the majority of the group allowed her to speak? Her idea turned out to be the best among the ideas presented in class. Raya couldn’t accept it, so she told Cloe, “Whatever, then. The reason why I didn’t allow you to express your ideas is because you’re ugly, and an idea coming from an ugly person might also be ugly.” (Ad Hominen)
  • Right? Her attitude has really bothered me these past few days. Can’t she be more sensitive to the feelings of other people around her? Her words could affect someone else’s mental health, you know? (Appeal to Emotion)
  • What? That’s so rude!
  • I now understand why she confessed that she was afraid of socializing with us because she might think that we have a similar attitude to people like Raya. (Fallacy of Composition)
  • We really couldn’t blame her for feeling that way.
