- Macbeth and Banquo battle traitors lead by the Thane of Cawdor
- On Guard
- Hail to thee Thane of Cawdor.
- Macbeth come across the 3 witches and they tell him his future
- Hail to the Thane of Glamis.
- Macbeth, that shalt be king hereafter.
- And, for an earnest of a greater honor, He bade me, from him, call thee Thane of Cawdor
- Ross comes and tells Macbeth that he is the new thane of Cawdor
- Our eldest, Malcolm, whom we name hereafterThe Prince of Cumberland
- Macbeth is mad that King Duncan makes his son the next king instead of him
- Lady Macbeth persuades Macbeth to kill King Duncan
