  • Hi I'm Cleopawtra I'm here to guide you through what it takes to make the perfect Egyptian civilization! You might notice those symbols in the background but we'll get to those later.
  • Actually we'll start with those now! Let's touch on the pyramid. It represents the geography of Egypt. To have been successful as ancient Egypt was , you have to have strong borders. Ancient Egypt was bordered by a scorching desert and a treacherous mountain range. They also had the Nile which was essential to all life in Egypt. This took them one step closer to success.
  • Now we can talk about the cross or the Religionof Ancient Egypt. In Egypt they practiced polytheism or the worship of many gods. They mummified their dead so they could move on to the afterlife. They made sacrifices and held ceremonies. All this took them one step closer to success
  • Now I will talk about the light bulb or the achievementsAncient Egypt. The people of Egypt had achievementsin the fields of science/medicine, time, communication, and building. They had to become great at these things to bring their civilization to the level they achieved. This took them one step closer to success.
  • Next we will talk about the money bag with a crown. This represents politics. In Ancient Egypt decisions were made by the pharaoh and his trusted advisors. By keeping the rulers in dynasties one family could rule for a very very long time. This took Egypt one step closer to success.
  • Almost done! Now let's talk about the grains or the ECONOMICS of Ancient Egypt. AncientEgyptproduced many things and, though lumber was not one of them, here are a few, gold, copper, livestock, wheat, barley, beans, lentils, peas, onions, leeks, grapes, dates, figs, watermelon, and flax. They caught and hunted birds and fish which were plentiful as well. This brought them one step closer to success.
  • It seems out time is coming to a close as we finish off with the three people or social structure of Ancient Egypt. The social structure of Egypt went something like this. Pharaoh was at the top, then priests, then scribes, then artisans, then peasants, and then, finally, slaves. There hard structured society brought them one step closer to success.
  • It seems I might miss theseknowledgeable little Egyptians. . .
