- No Andrew you are not going to die.

- So, Andrew the first line of defence in this case would be your skin since it is a external (broad) defence. The thing is that the water has just trasspassed that barrier.
- The second line of defense, which is what you are currently experiencing, enters after the first line has been breached. Its patrolling cells and inflammatory response will raise the body temperature, which is also known as a fever.
- The physician explains that the water violated two of the immune system's three lines of defense. Additionally, the waterborne, a rare virus, which is most prevalent at this time of year. However, the doctor went on to explain the three lines of defense because Andrew was curious.
- The Humoral Response, which includes lymphocytes like B cells, and the Cell-Mediated Response, which includes lymphocytes like T cells, make up the third line of defense.
- Andrew is given an explanation by the doctor regarding the first line of defense, which is the innate immunity. This means that it is non-specific and targets and eliminates everything or anything that gets in its way. Conversely, adaptive immunity targets particular stimuli and helps the body remember them for a later time.
