- Greg Ridley's father will not let him play basketball due to his bad grades. Greg gets upset and runs away from home.

- Greg Ridley goes into an abandoned house and meets a man named Lemon Brown who tells him he has a treasure. People come to steal his treasure and get fought away.

- Lemon Brown shows Greg Ridley his true treason, his harmonica.
- Conflicttheme
- Lemon Brown told Greg Ridley that he had a son named Jesse that he gave his harmonica to. Lemon Brown told how he received a letter saying that Jesse had died with the harmonica attached.
- Greg had butterflies in his stomach as he went to the door, but smiled when he though of the lecture his father would give him.
- Greg realized that his father lectured him because he cares for him, and he should be thankful with the relationships and opportunities he has. In the end, Greg's struggle with his father finishes because he learns that there is no point in fighting with his father.
