- Yup, thats me! I am really excited to hear about how studies have been with this new drug. Can it really stop my aorta from growing so much?
- Uh oh...
- Unfortunately, even though we are very grateful you participated in our study, this blood pressure drug you took, losartan, seems to have little to no effect on the growth of the aorta
- Aw, dang! I was really hopeful that losartan would be a helpful drug. So now do I just have to wait for my aorta to explode, or what?!
- Of course not! We will keep working to find other solutions to Marfan's Syndrome. I wish the drug would have blocked the aorta growth like we thought.
