- Sandy watching the twins at the beach
- Sandy meets Lob at the beach
- Lob always comes back for sandy after his owner keeps running away
- On this summer day she was lying peacefully reading a comic and not keeping an eye on the twins,Tim and Tess.
- The Pengellys get to keep Lob
- Sandy rolled onto her back to make sure that the twins were not climbing on slippery rocks pr getting cut off by the tide. A large body struck her forcibly in the midriff.
- On her way to aunt Rebecca's house she got hit by a doctor Travres.Lob was nowhere to be found.
- He whisked easily out of his master's grip.
- Sandy is in the hospital and Lob wakes her up just for a second from her coma.
- Lob?Lobby boy?
- Mr.Dodsworth sounded weary.He said,"That dog has already cost me two days I can't spare away from work,I think we better face the fact that it's your family he wants to be with."
- Mrs.Travers had seen plenty of accidents but she new this was caused by speed.
- Lob ran to her,whining.In the waiting room,Lob wouln't stop shaking his head.As if something heavy was tied to his collar.Don also explained that he found Lob on the side of the road looking for Sandy's school bag.Don said he had sunk Lob at sea.
