Storyboard-Text

  • WHAT? How dare you defy me?! Bring me the man who bribed you to commit this unfaithful act or YOU DIE!!
  • My king please believe me! It was not me who condoned this crime! But I will find the man who did, and bring him here to face you!
  • CAUGHT YOU!
  • Oh no!!
  • I feel guilty to burden another with death but glad I saved my own skin.
  • Creon! I have brought you the one who has committed this treachery!
  • This is taking so long, he has such a temper.
  • Who is this? The traitor? How could it be that a woman could commit such a sin? You snakes tried to get me from the start! Death! For the both of you!
  • NOO!
  • A messenger came to tell Creon that Polyneices' body had been disturbed and recieved a proper burial. Creon is furious and suspects anarchists to have bribed this guard to do these actions that the king had earlier forbid. He threatens the messenger to bring him the supposed man who made him do this or else he will be executed. Creon does not listen to reason as per usual and thinks his sole decision is automatically correct.
  • Listen Haimon, Antigone will be the downfall our your leadership. A woman like that is noting to you! She was horrible from the start!
  • Father, I agree with much of what you say and do however, it is good to have more than one opinion of man, not just your own. I will die if my wife to be is gone! I will leave you and this earth behind and go to the gods!
  • The messenger set up a trap by removing the previous dust from Polyneices' body. Antigone had noticed this of course and Ismene, her younger sister, ended up tagging along. Though she tried to stop Antigone from committing this act because it was against the law to go against the king. Antigone again sprinkled her brother's corpse and got caught by the royal guard.
  • Goodbye cruel world. For the gods under the ground will understand the reasoning behind my actions. Let my veil take me to my family, my brother. Oh my gods take me now but think of the king Creon that has signed me away for this eternal fate- let him take this punishment and make him learn from what he's done.
  • Creon has declared death on both of this sisters, since Antigone did the act he thought Ismene should have to die as well. Creon once again doesn't listen to reason, he thinks his decision is the ultimate one and was uncooperative in listening to what Antigone was really reasoning.
  • Oh my love! Oh Antigone! You have left me, my beautiful! Before we had the chance to wed you were taken from me! My father lied! Why won't he ever listen to me? Oh my sweet, I cannot bear to live and breathe without you, I shall die by your side and spend eternity with you in the clouds.
  • Creon and Haimon talk over Antigone, regarding her death and women. Creon loves his son more than life itself and changes his decision of the penalty for Antigone and Ismene. He states that Antigone will be locked away in a vault and Ismene will live.
  • Antigone hangs herself in the vault, wishing the punishment for what she did to go to Creon instead.
  • Haimon finds his bride-to-be cold as ice on the ground. He is completely heartbroken and holds rage for his father. The scene continues on and Creon comes to the vault to see his son weeping like this. Haimon attempted to stab his father, but missed and couldn't take it anymore. He took his dagger and stabbed himself. This shows a tragedyof star crossed lovers, such as Romeo and Juliet
