- Stanley Yelnats is walking back fom school and shoes fall on him
- huh
- Stanley is hit by the shoes and is falling over.“Naturally, he had no way of knowing they belonged to Clyde Livingston. In fact, the shoes were anything but sweet.”
- HEY!
- hey
- Stanley is suprised to see that shoes fell on him.“They hadn’t exactly fallen from the sky. He had just walked out from under a freeway overpass when the shoes hit him on his head.”
- Stanley examins the shoes and is confused. Where did the shoes come from? and whya cop car is pulling up.“ A patrol car pulled alongside him. A policeman asked him why he was running. Then took the shoes and made a call on his radio. Shortly thereafter, Stanley was arrested.”
- Stanley is shocked and confused why the cops are running at him.”He ran. Thinking back now he wasn’t sure why he ran. Maybe he was in a hurry to bring his shoes to his father, or maybe he was trying to run away from his miserable day at school.
- Stanley is scaed so he runs with the shoes. Stanley later learns that those shoes were Clyde Livingston shoes and is accused of stealing them and is sent to camp green lake.
