  • a latin tribe built the village that became rome. the village was constructed on the plataine, a hill in central italy that over looks the tiber river the village that was once of thatched huts developed into a city that spread out over the seven hills

  • the myth of romulus and remus says that they were meant to be killed by their own uncle that took over and said that they had to be dead. the new kings best army people stole the twins romulus and remus and put them in the tiber river and before they died a she-wolf picked them up and brought them back to her cave and raised them. then they built the city and got into a fight about what they should call it and romulus killed his brother so after he was dead they decided to name it rome.66
