- In this scene Curley found out when Lennie did to his wife, and wants to find and kill him.
- Look down there acrost the river, like you canalmost see the place."
- "Take off your hat,Lennie. The air feels fine."
- In this scene, George finds Lennie while he is at the river going crazy.
- The hand shookviolently, but his face set and his hand steadied. He pulled thetrigger.
- In this scene, Lennie wants George to remind him about the American dream, the ranch.
- "I just done it,"
- "You hadda, George. I swear you had-da.
- George is preparing to end Lennie's suffering, as well as his.
- George finally puts an end, and ends Lennies life.
- Slim finds George in the woods after he killed Lennie and comforts him.
