- This relate to principle of conservation of momentum. Before that, you must know the principle of momentum first.
- Huh, I never expect that I would explain about Physics to other people.
- The principle of the momentum is the total momentum before interaction is equal to the total momentum after interaction.
- BOOOM !
- The cannon is a best example of interaction which is an explosion.
- We look at explosions in the same way as we look at collisions, the total momentum before is equal to the total momentum after.
- In explosions the total momentum before is zero.
- If we look at the cannons there, we can see that the whole system is not moving. So, the total momentum after is zero.
- You're welcome.
