- When you want something, all the universe conspires to help you achieve it
- By listening to your heart and the omens that the universe provides
- Santiago meets the old king of Salem on his journey to Egypt. The king asks Santiago about his Personal Legend, and Santiago explains his dream of finding treasure in Egypt.
- How can I be sure that the omens are real?
- The universe speaks to everyone, but only a few people know how to listen.
- The king tells Santiago that everyone has a Personal Legend. The king explains that a Personal Legend is what you have always wanted to accomplish.
- The king tells Santiago that the universe conspires in helping people achieve their Personal Legend. Santiago asks the king how he can discover his Personal Legend. The king advises Santiago to listen to his heart and the omens that the universe provides.
- These are Urim and Thummim, They will help you read omens and understand the language of the universe.
- Santiago is skeptical and asks the king how he can be sure that the omens are real. The king tells Santiago that the universe speaks to everyone, but only a few people know how to listen.
- The king tells Santiago a story about a boy who becomes a successful crystal merchant by following his Personal Legend.
- The king gives Santiago two stones, Urim and Thummim, to help him read omens and understand the language of the universe. Santiago thanks the king again and sets off on his journey with renewed determination.
