- Mr. Jones is going to bed after locking all the animals in their respective sleeping-places and is too drunk to be awake even for 1 more second.
- After the lights of Mr. Jones's house go off, the Middle white boar known as the Old Major calls a meeting to explain his weird dream that he had last night.
- The Old Major first explains the animals that how man takes the benefits of all their hard work and in return, he gives them only enough food to survive and slaughters them after they get old.
- Man is the root cause of our hunger.
- He convinces them that they needed a rebellion against man! At last, he tells them about the dream he had last night, in which he saw the earth as it would be when man has vanished.
- Rebellion!!
- In the dream, the words of a long forgotten song, of which his mother only knew the first three words, also came back to his head! He then told the animals to sing the song with him, and every animal sung it with the wildest excitement.
- Beasts of England, Beasts of Ireland,Beasts of every land and clime...

- Unfortunately, Mr. Jones woke up due to the animals singing and he shot a bullet into the sky using his gun to alert the animals who ran back to their sleeping-places and the whole farm was asleep in a moment.
