Storyboard-Text

  • Evolution and Reproduction
  • Did you know that Adaptation = DNA? With evolution this helps organisms mate and reproduce.
  • Stimulus and Growth/Development
  • Some how the frog knows when winter is coming and knows what to do. Reminds me of Spider-man and when he knows somethings gonna happen.
  • Genetic Code
  • The DNA in the frogs cell gives instructions for it to store urine + blood to turn into antifreeze.
  • Without DNA it wouldn´t be possible to pass on the adaptationsWith that being said evolution would be nonexistentThis also helps the organism to be able to mate so it can reproduce in the environment.
  • Homeostasis
  • The frog is able to produce urine/antifreeze while its in this type of condition.
  • The frog is able to know when winter is coming and is able to get preparedStimulus triggers something that can be a physical or behavioral change.Mature/Grown frogs know what to do at this time.
  • Cell(s)
  • The Water in the cell(s) of the frog actually helps it freeze.
  • The DNA from the cells contains instructions in a gene that goes and tells a cell how to make that specific protein.
  • Metabolism
  • The frog will now go out and look for food to get it´s energy back to survive.
  • A balance among all body systems that are needed for the frog to survive and be able to function correctly. While also having to adjust to any type of condition it´s in.
  • Since the cell(s) contain water, it makes the antifreeze so that it can survive.
  • When the frog unfreezes and goes out, it starts to look for food to eat since it´s been sitting there frozen all winter. It needs to be able to produce energy and the basic life materials to survive. Its metabolism helps it convert the food into that energy.
