- Character Actions: “The real reason, sir, was that we just had to jump out of that tree. You know that tree...jumping out of the tree was even more forbidden than missing a meal (Knowles).
- JUMP
- Literary Elements: This tree flooded me with a sensations and started to climb the pegs. I don’t remember saying anything. The branch he had jumped from was slenderer than it looked from the ground and much higher.
- Characters: “He could also shine at many other things, with people for instance, the others in our dormitory, the faculty; in fact, if you stopped to think about it, Finny could shine with everyone, he attracted everyone he met. I was glad of that too. Naturally. He was my roommate and my best friend” (17)
