- L'Ouverture: We can revolt like the French did and win!
- Napoleon: we have so much sugar and Santo Domingo is doing so well
- We are rich
- Us white people should have more rights than the rich black people
- L'Ouverture: We will stop the revolt if you end slavery
- France: SIke!
- France: umm I guess
- L'Ouverture did 10 months later in jail in the French Alms
- L'Ouverture: No I am not!
- France: You're trying to plan another revolt we are arresting you!

- A new general came and started where L'Ouverture ended
- France was in a war with the Spanish, the British, and the slaves. They decided the slaves were the easiest to let go.
- The revolution has ended. Santo Domingo will now be Haiti, a dependent nation
