- I'm sorry family... I don't have anything for us to eat, again. I tried to get a deal at the market but they wouldn't accept it. All the money I made today couldn't even get us a loaf of bread.
- Excuse me, Mr. Pullman... some employees wanted to meet with you and discuss their recent cut in salary. What should I tell them?
- NO! I refuse to meet with them. They will get what I pay them and nothing more!
- Oh No! Those employees that you refused to talk with have gone on strike! They're not going to work until you meet with them and do something about their wage.

- Hello! I am the leader of the American Railway Union and we are here to help you all with your strike! Follow our lead and we will help you get better working conditions.

- An injuction has been released by the federal government. The ARU can no longer assist the strikers in their journey for equality.
