- Ok then. Why is the formula N+2 for prism faces.

- The formula is N+2 because because there are N amount of sides plus the top and the bottom

- Ok why is the formula for prism edges Nx3
- The prism edges are Nx3 because there are N amount of edges on the the top and bottom of the shape and there is a line connecting them at each vertices.
- Right again. Your almost 3/3 on the prism formulas. The last question is why is it Nx2 for prism vertices

- Its Nx2 because the top and the bottom are the two main faces with vertices and they each have N amount of vertices.
- Good job you got all of them correct. Now all you have to do is the pyramid formulas. The first one is N+1 for pyramid faces
- The formula is N+1 because N is the amount of faces the meet up at the top plus one because of the bottom.
- Now why is the formula for pyramid edges Nx2.
- The formula is Nx2 because there are N amount of edges that meet up at the top of the pyramid and there are N amount of edges on the bottom that connect the lines going up to the top.
- Your almost done just one more question why is the formula for pyramid vertices N+1
- The formula is N+1 because there are N amount of vertices one the bottom face plus one because of the top of the pyramid
