- WHICH ONE?!

- I guess I can give you my adrenal gland
- Tell me some things about it.
- It produces cortisol, aldosterone, DHEA, epinephrine and norepinephrine.
- And...
- Cortisol acts on the liver, muscle, adipose tissue, and pancreas. Aldosterone acts on the kidney and colon. DHEA acts on the testes and ovaries. Epinephrine and norepinephrine act on the centre medulla.
- And how do they work?
- Cortisol helps stimulates glucose production helping the body to free up the necessary ingredients from storage (fat and muscle) to make glucose. Aldosterone helps to maintain the body’s salt and water levels which, in turn, regulates blood pressure.

- DHEA are precursor hormones that are converted in the ovaries into female hormones (estrogens) and in the testes into male hormones (androgens). Epinephrine and norepinephrine control hormones that initiate the flight or fight response.
- I wonder what happens once I take it
- I won't die or anything but I would need to take certain medications, such as those for high blood pressure and prednisone or cortisol pills.
- Why'd you choose this gland to give me?
- I chose this gland because I wanted to choose something that wouldn't increase my chances of death and have less risks.
