Storyboard-Text

  • Once upon a time there was a shiny knight. His name was Sir Ariel of Kissenshire. He was on a quest to find a fair princess.
  • As the sun set, Sir Ariel slowed his horse to a halt. "Whoa, Itty Von Bitthaus!" he cried. His trusty companion was named after the bravest, most portly knight to have ever come out of Kissenshire. Itty Von Bitthaus had also happened to be Sir Ariel's best friend- that is, before dying by the sword of the evil knight, Sir Kostapuk, in the battle of Charlatt.
  • Sir Ariel and Itty Von Bitthaus set up camp that night just outside of the Gulch of Dwarves. The dwarves that lived in the gulch were the outcasts of society, and thus had been shunned to the gulch by King Mervingorge. King Mervingorge was a fierce and loud ruler of the land. Always a drumstick in his hand, he hungrily ruled with conviction...and against dwarves.
  • As night grew dark, the damp, cool air blanketed Sir Ariel. He stirred gently in his sleep as he dreamed of his beloved, a fair princess named Princess Addielle of the Mushroom Forest. The Mushroom Forest was a magical place filled with fairies and pixies and teeny, tiny princesses like Princess Addielle. Sir Ariel had once before saved her life, and she had captured his heart. He vowed to find her again one day.
  • Want some?
  • Sir Ariel awoke to a tapping on his shoulder. "Hello," the dwarf whispered. "I'm Stanley Quink, but my friends call me Stinky!"
  • Meanwhile, deep in the Mushroom Forest, Princess Addielle was brushing her long, golden hair. Each strand sparkled, and each individual sparkle danced right off her hair and trailed behind her like a stream of pixie dust. There was to be a party in the Mushroom Forest, and Addielle longed for a shiny knight to go with. There was only one she ever loved, but he was far, far away.
  • "What do you want?" Sir Ariel asked the dwarf. "I saw your fire from the gulch and thought you could use a guide." Stinky said with a smile. "I'm sick of being banished to this place. You could be my way out!" Not sure about this, Sir Ariel cocked his head thoughtfully. "What makes you think I need a guide?" he asked. "You have the look of love in your eyes!" Stinky remarked with a giggle. "Surely you are too distracted!" Sir Ariel smiled.
  • With the help of the dwarf Stinky, Sir Ariel was on his way to the Mushroom Forest in search of his one true love, Princess Addielle. She was once a fair maiden of Kissenshire, but was captured by gypsies and held prisoner. One of the gypsies had turned her into a teeny tiny pixie sprite and kept her hidden in a box.
  • Sir Ariel had found Addielle and set her free long ago, but lost her as she fled from the evil gypsies. He had heard of a magical place called the Mushroom Forest, where pixies and sprites and fairies lived. He hoped he would find his beloved Addielle there. Stinky the Dwarf claimed to know the way. He was nice enough, except for when he insisted on smelling Itty Von Bitthaus's butt each night before bed.
  • King Mervingorge called for a town hearing. He had gotten word that his brave knight, Sir Ariel, had left his kingdom in search of a princess. Sir Ariel had gone on his journey without permission and King Mervingorge demands each knight to bring him a huge block of cheese every night. Failure to bring him cheese is cause for banishment...or even death (dun dun DUN)!
  • They were moments away from entering the Mushroom Forest when Stinky stopped. He squatted down and pulled out a tiny sack full of cheese. "Where did you get cheese?!" Sir Ariel exclaimed. Stinky offered a handful up to Sir Ariel. "Cheese is only for King Mervingorge!" Sir Ariel cried. "Cheese is why we were banished to the gulch." Stinky told him.
  • King Mervingorge put together a search party of his worst knights to find Sir Ariel. His best knights were already off to battle the greasy slime monsters of Snarky Village. The three slimiest slime monsters were more annoying than slimy, and known mostly for their hideous odor. They were Andretok, Andrewmadon, and Dallasian...and they were not pleasant.
  • Milosh the Mighty and Gustav the Great were leading the search party for Sir Ariel. Although mighty and great at most things, they were anything but great at looking for things. They and the rest of the search party had just found the trail Sir Ariel and Stinky left behind. It would not be long til they caught up with them...if they were any good at following trails.
  • Sir Ariel and Stinky were riding Itty Von Bitthaus when they approached a stream. They stopped for a drink, and noticed a tiny pixie nymph perched atop a lily pad. She glittered in the sunlight and the water in the stream. "Miss?" Sir Ariel said shyly. Startled, the tiny lady leapt off her lily pad and fluttered away into the golden sky.
  • "Oh no! We must catch that pixie fairie!" Sir Ariel exclaimed. "No wait!" yelled Stinky. "We'll never catch her!" They ran off a ways, but realized they were suddenly very lost. Itty Von Bitthaus finally caught up to them and had something sparkly in his ear. "Are you Sir Ariel of Kissenshire?" a tiny, soft voice asked.
  • Sir Ariel looked around and finally saw the tiny pixie sprite hiding on top of Itty Von Bitthaus's head. "I am Sir Ariel," he said gently. Golden white light encircled the little lady speaking to him. As she blinked her eyes, tiny sparkles fell from her face onto Itty's head. "I know someone who is looking for you!" she said. "Do you know Princess Addielle?"
  • Sir Ariel could hardly contain his excitement. He was following a tiny forest sprite through the trees. She was leading him to his beloved Princess Addielle. She was still sitting behind Itty Von Bitthaus's ear, as she had grown very fond of the horse. Her name was BunnieBelle of the Mushroom Forest. Stinky sat on the back of the horse, eating cheese.
  • As they approached the Mushroom Forest, Sir Ariel saw a magical light streaming through the trees ahead. It was more beautiful than he ever imagined. He could hardly believe that his one true love, the one he had been dreaming about all this time, was only just ahead, through the trees.
  • As Sir Ariel approached the entrance to the Mushroom Forest, he felt a familiar sense. Something like a coming home. The tiny hairs on his arms and the back of his neck stood on end in excitement. He knew he would find his love, the fair and tiny Princess Addielle, through those trees. He also got the feeling he would find even more...
  • As the group traveled through the Mushroom Forest, night was nearing. At dusk the Mushroom Forest is a magical place, even more magical than during any other time during the day or night. For it is at dusk when everyone's true nature is revealed. Sir Ariel and his companions heard voices and sounds of what appeared to be some sort of party in the not-too-far-off distance.
  • The weary travelers entered the magical party inside the Mushroom Forest. It was like nothing they had ever seen before. Glittery sparkles filled the air like a warm and embracing haze. Clouds of tiny pixie sprites kept fluttering by, giggling and whispering as they danced in the air. The most beautiful smell filled the air, something of sweet rose petals, chocolate, and dew drops.
  • The only thing missing from this party-of-all-parties was the music. The creatures and nymphs of the Mushroom Forest were dancing and singing as you would typically find folks behaving at a party as magnificent as this. But you could also feel a sense of deep sadness, like something very important was missing.
  • Sir Ariel glanced around. He could feel her presence. He knew his one true love was near. As the other forest fairies swirled around him, they covered him in pixie dust. Then someone gasped. "Look!" they yelled pointing at Sir Ariel. Shrieks and screems filled the air. Sir Ariel had turned a glowing electric blue!
  • "It is he!" someone declared. "Dude, what happened to you?" Stinky asked. "I don't know," Sir Ariel said looking down at his glowing electric blue arms. Before he knew what was happening, he had been swept away, carried by a swarm of fairies and brought to Queen Elwood- the mightiest tree in the world.
  • "What's happening to me?" Sir Ariel asked. "Do not be afraid, good sir," Queen Elwood said in a soothing voice. "The time of dusk reveals one's true nature here at the Mushroom Forest. You are the one we have been waiting for." The puzzled look on Sir Ariel's face forced Queen Elwood to explain further.
  • "I have ruled the Mushroom Forest for thousands of years, and knew that one day I would be too old to continue. The universe has selected two very special individuals to one day rule the Mushroom Forest with justice and love after my time is up. I am a mighty tree, but I lack the ability to move. I am not dying, but need to turn over the kingdom to mobile creatures," Queen Elwood explained.
  • "I have already found our princess, who lives here and has been longing for her prince. As the legend goes, he was to find the Mushroom Forest and at dusk his true nature of being the prince would be revealed as he turned the color of the clearest, brightest blue we had ever seen. You, Sir Ariel, are that prince!"
  • Off in the distance, Sir Ariel noticed a glowing yellow cloud of pixie dust. It seemed to bounce through the air and was full of spark. It captivated his attention so much that the queen was getting frustrated. "What say you about being our prince and one day king of the Mushroom Forest?" asked the mighty tree.
  • Sir Ariel looked around. He couldn't believe it. He was to be named the prince of the Mushroom Forest- the most magical place on earth! Just then, the glowing yellow ball zoomed by and stopped directly in front of Sir Ariel's nose. From out of the yellow cloud emerged a tiny little forest fairie.
  • Prince Ariel looked into the golden eyes of the little fairie. At that instant, he felt a surge of energy, and he knew this was his one true love. He felt at peace. He felt he was home. He felt nervous, excited, and an overwhelming joy. Everyone at the party began to cheer! The little glowing fairie was his beloved Princess Addielle of the Mushroom Forest! And now he was the prince!
  • The prince and the princess had been reunited in love. Everyone laughed and sang and cheered and danced. The only thing missing was music. Prince Ariel took his beloved by the tiny hand and asked her why there was no music. "No one here knows how to make music," she said sadly.
  • Prince Ariel had an idea. He pulled his travel sized keyboard out of his pack. "I will play for you," he told his princess. Her eyes widened and sparkled even more than before. "Wait!" bellowed Queen Elwood. "Before you play, let me give you a wedding gift," she told Prince Ariel. She worked her magic, and transformed the tiny keyboard into a grand piano!
  • The more he played piano for his princess, the more she continued to grow. She danced around and sang to his song, and finally she was back to her original human size. She was so happy! "Thank you for restoring my size with your magical song!" she exclaimed.
  • Somewhere around midnight, Prince Ariel left the party with his beloved princess. He let Stinky continue to play the music for the rest of the night. Although Stinky was no where near as talented as Prince Ariel at playing music, the guests were just happy to have music at all. Stars twinkled above as Prince Ariel and Princess Addielle drifted off to sleep.
