Storyboard-Text

  • Whats wrong?
  • You are, but you don’t know it yet. The source from which your royal blood comes has been stopped.
  • Your royal father is murdered.
  • Who did it?
  • It seems that the guards who were supposed tobe protecting his chamber did it.Their hands and faces were all covered with blood.
  • So were their daggers, which we found on their pillows, unwiped. They stared at us in confusion. No one’s life should have been entrusted to them.
  • And yet I still regret the anger that drove me to kill them.
  • What did you do that for?
  • Is it possible to be wise, bewildered, calm, furious, loyal, and neutral all at once? Nobody can do that. The violent rage inspired by my love for Duncan caused me to act before I could think rationally and tell myself to pause.
  • There was Duncan, his white skin all splattered with his precious blood. The gashes where the kniveshad cut him looked like wounds to nature itself.
  • Then right next to him I saw the murderers, dripping with blood, their daggers rudely covered in gore. Who could have restrained himself, wholoved Duncan and had the courage to act on it?
  • Donalbain, acompannied by Malcom, arrives to the conversation between Banquo, Macbeth, Macduff, and Lennox. He curiously asks what' s wrong. Macbeth replies to him by saying that the true source of his blood has stopped. Macduff clarifies that Duncan is dead.
  • Suddenly, Malcolm asks who has done it, and Lennox tells him that Duncan's servants apparently did it because there was evidence (their hands full of blood). He mentions that they shouldn't have been trusted with any man's life. Macbeth adds that he was so angry with what happened that he just killed them.
  • My husband!
  • I heard the owl scream and the crickets cry.
  • I have done the deed. Did thou not hear a noise?
  • Macduff asks Macbeth the purpose of having done that and Macbeth, lying, answers him that his love for Duncan resulted in a violent rage that made him kill them before he could pause to think and that no man can have different emotions at the same time.
  • This is a sorry sight.
  • One of the servants laughed in his sleep, and one cried, “Murder!” and they woke each other up. I stood and listened to them, but then they said their prayers and went back to sleep.
  • That’s a stupid thing to say.
  • Macbeth kills the king in his sleep, and feeling stressed about what he did, goes to talk with his wife to tell her about the weird noises that he heard of the servants.
  • AAAAAA
  • Macbeth enters holding a bloody dagger, and asks his wife if she heard the noises. Lady Macbeth is surprised by seeing him and tells him that she heard an owl scream and the crickets cry.
  • Macbeth, looking at his hands covered in blood, He mentions to Lady Macbeth some of the voices that he heard while he stood and listened. He said that the servants just said their prayers and fell back asleep.
