  • WE WONT SURVIVE WE NEED THE KING
  • OH MY LORD WHY DID WE EVEN MOVE
  • WE NEED THE KING GO GET THE KING WE CANT FIGHT THERE IS TO LITTLE OF US
  • earlier that morning colonist had decided they wanted to expand there landmark but had ran into a problem with the French and the Indians and they called the king for back up at the end the British won but the king wasn't so happy
  • WHAT!
  • ok we won the war but your not aloud over there you will start another war and I have already gone broke because of your guys stupidness so you guys will pay back all that money
  • the reason the king was taxing these specific things is because these were what the colonists used or bought the most
  • the king had a plan he decided to tax his colonist to win all his money back and it would end his brokenness
  • sugar act 1764- placed a tax on sugar and other goods brought from other countriesstamp act 1765- placed tax on legal documents pamphlets playing cards licenses newspaper and insurance policiesTownshend act 1767- placed a tax on certain items that had to be bought from Great Britain as they were not produced in the colonies
  • the colonist basically boycotted all the new laws and well they did by not buying British taxed items they didn't want to give there money to there government which sort of worked
  • but government had another idea to tax other things that are not there like Spain coffee or any other place products which hurt some of the colonist but they made the colonist buy only British items
  • the colonist could boycott all they want but it would just make the problem even worst
  • they think they can out smart me HEHEHEHHEEHHEHEHEHEH
  • BUT colonist had a plan
  • AND A VERY GOOD ONE
  • quartering act 1765- required the British soldiers be quartereddeclaratory act 1766- gave parliament the power to pass lawsintolerable acts- a series of laws
  • the colonist idea was to dress up as the Indians an throw off all the tea in the boat into the water and the king wasn't to happy
  • the colonist sure did a great job but that act just made everything worst three new laws where created
  • then there was a meeting about the first continental congress that sent a petition of rights to the king and the king didn't answer so they reconvened and they asked all 13 colonies for rearesentatives
  • and after the meeting with the representatives they all decided it was time to declare freedom and then
  • the second continental congress was approved which meant
  • FREEDOM
  • and now the colonist where free and able to do what thy wanted
