- The next day. I went to my dad's house to check on my sister and my cat. As soon as I entered the house, I noticed a terrible smell. I knew that smell so well after having cats my whole life I knew my sister had not cleaned the cat's litter box.
- Rafaella the smell is terrible! Haven't you cleaned the litter box?
- I know it is horrible, but I did not know how to and I only slept 4 hours last night because your cat had me up all night tearing up the whole house.
- I felt so bad for the bother I had caused my sister that I told her to go back home and rest while I cleaned up my dad's house. Before leaving she quickly asked me something I did not even noticed I had not done earlier.
- I was so caught up in all the drama I did not have time to even think about it. I guess I have the perfect name for him, Picasso.
- I do not know if you have noticed, but you have not named you cat. How will you name him?
- After cleaning up the mess Picasso made, I returned home with Picasso, only to find my mom really angry at me.
- I cannot believe it Manuela, you know how much it bothers me that you dad comes, and even worse if he interrupts to give you a completely irresponsable gift!
- I know, I am so sorry but I did not know he was coming. I really do not understand why you cannot be happy for me. I do not know if you have noticed but I have been really sad after Teo went missing.
- I guess I was to young to understand my mom felt excluded from a decision that would changed my life that I acted in such a selfish way. After that, my mom went crying straight to her room and locked herself for the entire day.
- I wish I could live with dad for the rest of my life! At least he cares for me.
- I spent the whole day trying to get my mom to open the door. But she would not even speak to me. At least I was not alone since I had Picasso.
- Mom please come out. I am so sorry I yelled at you I truly did not meant what I said.
- It wasn't after late at night my mom finally came out. I know realize that day was my true present, since I had connected with my mom in a way I have never done before, my sister sacrificed her sleep just to take care of my cat and my dad had given me a cat so I would always feel accompanied.
- I am so sorry I acted in such a immature way, I just felt invisible in your life. I love you so much i promise it will not happen ever again.
