- Should I work in the factory and leave charlie in Vermont?

- Character Vs Nature -Bear attack
- Its a sign of the devil!
- Guys, stay quiet!
- Character Vs Character -Mom sends Lyddie and Charlie off to work.
- This is horrible! Why would she do this? Everything was going so well.
- I am sending you to work at a tavern and Charles to work at a mill. This will help pay off the debt. I am going to rent off the farm to someone else. -Mom
- Scene: Lyddie is outside of the factory she is about to work at, and she is deciding if she should work at the factory and leave Charlie in Vermont.I know that Character Vs Self is being demonstrated here because she is having to make a decision between herself.
- Scene: Lyddie and her families cabin is being attacked by a bear. According to Lyddies mom, it's a sign of the devil.I know that Character Vs Nature is being demonstrated here because a bear would be considered apart of nature and Lyddie has to problem solve because a bear has broken into the cabin and she's the only one who will do anything about it.
- Scene: Lyddie and Charlie are working at the farm, and just received a healthy calf when they get a letter from their mom.I know that this is Character Vs Character because Lyddie/Charlie are having a conflict between their mom by getting upset towards their mom because everything was going well at the farm.
