- Use pot holders to handle utensils,open lids of pans away from the edge of the range avoid tipping.
- If clothing catches fire smother the flames, stop drop and roll.
- Never cut towards yourself, never point a knife at someone,store knives in proper holders.

- Unplug appliances by the plug not the cord.
- Avoid working with water and electrical appliances at the same time.
- Do not use damaged appliances and do not overload outlets.
