- The symptoms were almost always buboes on your armpits and around your neck. Buboes are similar to blisters. You could also get rashes, headaches, fevers and the chills (a cold).
- Causes
- The Black Plague was cause by fleas biting rats and sucking out some of the rats blood which was infected with the plague, then the fleas would go to a person and bite them but give some of the infected blood to them and then that person would get the plague. now days we would just take antibiotics and we would be fine but then you would die in no more the 5 days. People thought that the disease was from the air so they put coats and masks on with herbs inside so the virus couldn’t get in.
- How People Tried to Fix it
- The plague was very impactful on people because even though the plague only killed 100,000 people it was a lot back then because the population of England was a ton smaller than it is now.
- Impact on People
- The cause of the great fire was thought out to be because of a baker who was making something and then the oven sparked and set the bakery on fire which started it.
- Someone recommended to the king of england that they should pull down the buildings and everyone in their houses should evacuate and hide / bury the valuables that they cannot carry.
- Even though the great fire was very catastrophic, it ceased the diseases and rats and help get rid of deadly infectious diseases.
