- Timmy and his mom are walking to the school since they lived close to the school. Once they got to the classroom, Timmy's mom hugged him and left while saying bye to Timmy.
- Climax
- When Timmy looked around the classroom he saw Ethan waiting on the carpet waiting for Timmy so they can play with toys. Later on Mrs. Smith told the kids it was time to do their work and went on to do math.
- Falling Action
- After they got done with their work and it was time for lunch they went down to the lunchroom to get their food. 20 minutes passed and Mrs. Smith calls on the kids that its time for recess and they can choose who the line leader is for today
- Resolution
- Timmy was going to go ask Mrs. Smith if he can be the line leader but once he was going to ask her, Ethan asked her if he can be the line leader as well. Timmy and Ethan got upset and started fighting about wanting to be line leader. Mrs. Smith decided to deal with them and told the other kids they can go outside while she talks to the two boys.
- Mrs. Smith brought the two boys to a different room next to the classroom so they can cool off and take some time to say sorry. After she left Timmy and Ethan didn't feel like talking to each other so they sat their in silence. Timmy started to feel sorry and tells Ethan hes sorry for yelling at him. Ethan also says hes sorry so after they said sorry and apologizes, they decide to play games for the rest of recess.
- When Mrs. Smith walked in from recess, she say them getting along again and feels happy. She lets Timmy and Ethan out of the room and gives them a treat for fixing things out and the two boys went back to being friends and they play with games for the rest of the day until schools over.
