- Over these past few years, Riley has saved up just over $7,500; however, it wasn't easy. She's stayed at her normal jobs with raises, and has now picked up a nanny position that pays her $500 a month, and $750 a month in the summer. With the aditional job, she became very laxed with her budget plan and spent more money than she expected. She also ran into a small snag with her car when her muffler gave out, costing her $500 -- a whole months worth of pay -- causing the estimate of her car to go down about $1,000 within the years. She now needs to look for a car sooner than expected.

- To her surprise, her parents had been saving up $5,000 to put towards her car due to her hard work. Riley had set aside her $7,500, along with the estimated $2,500 of her old car adding up to a grand total of $15,000! She was able to purchase as a black 2015 Chevy Equinox for $14,990! She plans to pay her parents back on a $50/per month loan to fully pay off her car!
