- Saint Joan of Arc (born Jeanne d'Arc) was born in 1412 in Domrémy-La-Pucelle, France, to Jacques Isabelle d'Arc who were common peasants.
- Please, your majesty!
- I suppose I could let that happen...
- At age 13, Joan began to hear voices and see visions. But not just any voices or visions; divine ones.
- Welcome toOrléans
- I am not afraid... I was born to do this.
- The voices were sent by God to give her a mission with divine guidance to lead France to salvation from their war opponent - England.
- The council hath decided that thou art a heretic. We hereby sentence thee to be burnt at the stake.
- Joan, being merely a young girl (18 years old), had no military abilities. Somehow, she still managed to convince Prince Charles of Valois to let her lead an army.
- After getting permission from Prince Charles, she set off to Orléans where she obliterated the British.
- Joan of Arc was tried for witchcraft and heresy, and was burnt at the stake at only age 19.
