Story of Rama and Sita

- Welcome to the family, I am Prince Rama, and this is my wife, Princess Sita.
- This is your stepmother and stepbrother. Rama, they will now be living with us.
- Make my son king and send Rama away into the forest
- YOUR STEPBROTHER WILL BE THE KING AND YOU MUST GO TO THE FOREST WITH YOUR WIFE AND NEVER RETURN!
- The Demon King Ravana who have ten heads and twenty arms lurking in the forest saw Sita and immediately fell in love with her. Therefore, he put a beautiful deer in the forest that as a smooth golden coat and gleaming antlers and big eyes into the forest.
- As much as Prince Rama doubted that the deer might be a trap, Princess Sita was able to persuade Prince Rama to catch it for her as her pet.
- Just as Prince Rama has went away to catch the deer, the terrible Demon King Ravana and kidnapped Princess Sita. Princess Sita fell terribly afraid but found a way to help herself by throwing the jewellery she has on her so that Prince Rama might be able to follow.
- The king of the monkeys, Hanuman who was clever and strong and the enemy of Ravana, found the trail of the jewellery and helped Prince Rama to find Princess Sita. They soon found her in a dark, isolated island surrounded by rocks and stormy seas.
- Hanuman and his monkey army helped Prince Rama to fight against the Demon King Ravana along with other animals that were persuaded to help them. Prince Rama took his wonderful bow and arrow specially made to defeat all evil demons, and shot Ravana through the heart killing him.
- Prince Rama and Princess Sita returned to their kingdom and was welcomed by everyone with music and dancing. Everyone put an oil lamp in their window or door way to show that Prince Rama and Princess Sita were welcomed and to show that the light of truth and goodness had defeated the darkness of evil and trickery. Rama became king and ruled wisely, with Sita by his side.
