- Back when G.W became the 1st president, he assigned A.H to be his treasury.
- Of Course.
- It would be great honor if you became my treasurer
- They were falling in debt and Alexander soon started taxing on whiskey, Making it start the Whiskey Rebellion.
- We're running low on money!We need to pay back our debt ASAP!!
- We're not gonna pay the taxes of our whiskey! We need the extra cash!Rebel! Rebel!
- Farmers started getting angry since they were making cash by using the extra grain to make whiskey, this cost farmers to lose money, and they soon started rebelling.
- Tell them to bring the money or else we use brute force!!!
- Unlike Shay's Rebellion, the government responded faster. G.W sent armies to the farmers and would try to force them to pay.
- This showed how the young gov. was strong enough to make their citizens obey the law.
