- Someone in this house must have killed her! And I promise that I will find out who did it!
- The detective decided to begin by questioning the women at the house.
- Miss Cecily sounds nervous... though miss Gwendolyn seems quite calm for someone who has just witnessed a murder...
- I.. was just... with my mother. She was in the dining room... t-telling the servants what to do.
- Jack and I arrived late. When we got here, everyone was already taking their seats at the dining table.
- What were you doing before dinner?
- Then, he interrogated the men.
- Naturally, Mr. Moncrieff was drinking. Mr. Worthing's statement matches his wife's. Though the comment about the manservant put thoughts in my head...
- When I arrived, everyone was already having dinner. But I think I heard Lady Bracknell complaining about Lane not being present during the whole day.
- I got here about half an hour before dinner. I was drinking the whole time in the living room.
