- Catfishing is when someone does something fake online and pretends to be someone who they’re really not. Basically they’re showing a fake identity. I think catfishing is an enduring issue because many people believe the lies and they get tricked. Catfishing can also cause conflict between the person who is catfishing and the person who is getting catfished.

- Yes,I am aware of what catfishing is. I believe that catfishing is when some is pretending to be someone that they’re not. In other words, showing a fake identity to someone online.I never experienced catfishing before.I don’t think that there is bias detected in catfishing but there is deception. There a lot of lies when people catfish. People get online for dating and sometimes it becomes a big issue.
- I don’t believe that catfishing just happens here in the US because you can get catfished anywhere all around the world.I do detect bias because catfishing people can happen worldwide.

- I am aware of what catfishing is. I think catfishing is when someone pretends to be someone they’re not.I have experienced catfishing before when I was young and someone lied to me about their age.I think that this isn’t bias because no one can argue about getting catfished.

- I am aware of catfishing. I believe that catfishing is when someone pretends to be a person that they’re not. In other words, showing a fake identity lured a person into believing they have certain characteristics that they don’t have.I believe that you can detect bias in catfishing because a lot of people know the ideal interest in a person would be someone who looks very pretty or handsome. So people believe that for them to get attention from someone that they’re attracted to but because of their insecurities may feel that the person won’t be attracted to them.I don’t believe that catfishing only happens is the US because people abroad are also human beings and dealing with everyday scenarios.I can detect bias in believing that catfishing doesn’t only happen in the US because it can happen worldwide.
- I believe that catfishing is when someone shows a fake identity towards someone online. The reason why some people catfish is to trick people into thinking they love them or some just do it for fun.Catfishing can cause depression, anxiety, or mental health issues towards the people who get catfished. Catfishing can also cause major conflict between the person who is getting catfished and the person who is catfishing.
- I believe that I did prove my hypothesis because I gave a great explanation of what catfishing is. I also gave great details as to why I think catfishing is an enduring issue. I gave specific details as to how catfishing can effect the people who are getting catfished because someone can have high hopes for the person and they find out that they're getting catfished.
