- We need to revolt against these slave masters!! Then we can get the French off of our land that they colonized!!
- I am here to fight for the abolition of slavery because we all deserve freedom, natural rights, liberty, and citizenship!!
- Hello all of you! My name is Toussaint L'Ouverture and today in 1791 marks the day that I am here to help you and lead the revolution!
- I am so glad we are finally burning down all the slave masters houses and the stuff in it. This was due for a long time.
- Yes! And since the ideas of Enlightenment are fast spreading maybe we can abolish finally slavery once and for all!!
- Hello!! We are escaped slaves (Maroons) and we are also here to join you in this revolt along with our fellow escaped slave Toussaint L'Ouverture!!
- After all of that fighting I am so glad slavery is abolished and we are finally free!
- And now that Haiti is an independent country and L'Ouverture declared himself governor of Haiti for life, I can sleep good at night knowing that I have citizenship and equality because of the constitution that he produced
