- In the early beginning....
- They even got engaged because the couple was that deeply in love. However, not until after a prolonged engagement of several years.
- Meanwhile, Don Julian, Alfredo's father, and he occasionally pay a visit to Judge Del Valle's residence. One evening, he was at that house when a young woman caught his eye.
- There was a man named Alfredo who had a girl named Esperanza and was really in love with her. Esperanza received flowers and notes from Alfredo while he sang for her. These two are regarded by society as the ideal couple.
- After attending mass for many Sundays, Alfredo kept seeing Julia despite his discomfort and uncertainty about how he really felt.
- Alfredo appeared to change how he feels towards Esperanza. All of the previous serenades, notes, and flowers were no longer present when he often sees her. After the event, Esperanza remained to wait for Alfredo outside the church in the hopes of catching his attention.
- Alfredo ran across Esperanza while out walking on his way home from Julia's place.
- Alfredo found this girl not to pretty but very appealing. Her voice seemed to be as great as his favorite song. Her smiles and her eyes caught his attention. It was indeed a wonderful night for him, with the ball of fire starting to light up his affection for her.
- Days later, Alfredo returned to the same location where their love had begun.
- It is true that doing what is forbidden is far more enjoyable. His heart trembled uncontrollably every time they told stories and laughed together while sitting close to one other. They enjoyed being around one another.
- Alfredo has been aware that he is cheating since that day. He was giving Julia something she shouldn't have. He couldn't decide on anyone. Even though his love was illegal, but it was so genuine.
- Knowing that tomorrow will be the beginning of the planning for his wedding to Esperanza, Alfredo was struck with melancholy throughout the entire talk. As soon as he and Esperanza start getting ready for the wedding, Julia will depart. But he is not content. It's time to wake up from the dream and return to reality.
