- As the communist threats were coming to him he decided to declare martial law cause of the communist threat. President Marcos declared martial law from 1972 to 1981 in order to quell rising civil unrest and the threat of a communist takeover in the aftermath of a series of bombings in Manila.

- Now it is February 22, 1986. The day of the people power revolution in EDSA. They did the people power revolution because they were done already done with the Marcos administration. Philippines was gonna go corrupt because of Marcos getting accused of stealing the money of the Philippines.
