- The neothilic revolution was first of three revolutions in agriculture that took place 12000 years ago in Mesopotamia. It was when first human settlements where set up and they were all speaking the same language as well as it was a new stone age. They domesticated plants such as wheat, rye, oats, and olives. As well as animals such as cattle, goats, dogs, and pigs.
- This revolution was started in England, but gradually moved to North America and Europe. This took place in the 17th and 18th century and brought many new creations to the table with innovations such as the Rother-ham plow, Thresher Machine, the seed drill, and even the scythe. This revolution also brought selective breeding and helped the learning of better land management. This allowed the population to start rapidly growing.
- The green revolution is the most recent of the three introducing new practices of farming using things such as synthetic fertilizer or pesticides. This also introduced genetic plants which can help many things to make almost any plant be able to survive anywhere in the world making hunger be lowered by mass amounts. We have been able to feed more people and even at some points have a surplus of food.
