- At last, solitude! I am free from those pesky humans and their putrid, rotten smells! My new home, the biggest castle money can buy! I am Grenouille the Great and I have access to any scent at my leisure! The fresh scent of freedom liberates me from that cruel world!
- I only live to please myself, not God, unlike those humans!
- This fog-- this is my odor, but I can't smell it for some reason. This is frightening! *shrieks*
- I must cleanse myself with the wind to find my scent.
- I must go out into the outside world or I'll never be able to claim to know myself! Who am I without a scent?
- I was kidnapped and held hostage for 7 years! Here are my journeyman papers!
- I can use this to my advantage to make it into town!
- He's a monster! Run!
- If I restore him back to health this can prove my scientific theory.
- Come with me, I can save you from that ghastly gas!
- Thank you for your hard work!
- I've conjured a better scent than that lily one he gave me! I smell like a real human now! Now I can bnd people to my will!
- My masterpiece! We must show you off and show how even that gas cannot break a man down!
- Those fools! I've deceived them into thinking I am one of them! They finally recognize my worth!
- Who is that guy? He smells quite nice! Such a fresh and friendly scent!
- At last! I show you the cured version of a man who experienced the dire gas I spoke of! *continues to ramble*
- Sure! *these humans are starting to take notice of my presence*
- Hey mister! Can you help me see the wedding?
- This scent is wonderful and advantageous indeed! These humans now show interest in me and I can control them!
