- Hi Mae, How are you? It's been sometimes that we had our conversation in person.
- Hello Mark! I'm fine, thank you! I hope you too. I'm happy that you visit me here.
- I saw your kind brother there, doing his homework. BTW, How is your learning in our topic which all about functions discussed by Ma'am Emmalyn?
- Hmm, Yeah! I have many takeaways from our teacher's discussion. Honestly, I found difficulty in proccessing what she have taught but I just gain my full concentration to the discussion last day that's why I learned.
- Can i know what are your takeaways?
- Yeah!! heheh A function is a relation where it takes domain's values as input while and gives the range as output.
- Yeah that's right! or shall I say Domain are x values while Range are y values in the sets of function.
- Hmm, Wait, there is something in my mind that I want to say. Ahaah! sets are FUNCTION if the domain's relation to range is not repeated. like for example (1,2),(2,3), (4,5), but if we encounter (1,2), (1,3),(2,3) this is NOT FUNCTION.
- Hahaha. I'm already hungry. Wow! Delicious!
- Hehe, I rememeber , If the normal curve facing to the right and left then they are not function. Its beacuse if we draw a vertical line then there are two x value or points that will be shown or repeated.
- Thank you too mae, for letting me in and for learning also your takeaways. Math is a difficult subject that we should spend our time and effort with practicing and solving some problems but with God everything will be easy and worth it for our learnings.
