Storyboard-Text

  • Hi, I'm the Sun. I'm a giant ball of hydrogen and helium that puts of light for all humans and animals to see during the day. And when I say giant, I mean I can fit 1.3 million Earths inside me giant. I keep all humans like you alive with my bright light rays. By beaming my light rays down on you and your Earth, I keep your plants alive that you and your livestock eat and I give you the Vitamin D you need. Without me all living things would die. I also light up the Moon that orbits your Earth to give you light at night. So, as you can see, I'm very important.
  • Hello, I'm the Moon. I'm a giant rock orbiting around the Earth. Scientist think that I might've came around when young Earth collided with a Mars-sized planet and all the debris that circled Earth came together and formed ME, the Moon. Many people have walked on me, which kind of tickles. Any way, the first person to ever set foot on me was Neil Armstrong on Apollo 11 on 21st of July in 1969. I don't actually produce my own light rather than reflect the light of the Sun. I also rotate as I orbit the Earth as the Earth orbits the Sun. This rotating and orbiting is what causes Moon phases. Depending on where I am and where the Earth is in orbit is what moon phase I will be in.
  • Hey ,I'm Earth, your home planet. I'm the third planet from the Sun out of eight planets. I am different from the rest of the planets because I am the only known terrestrial planet, or in other words, I am the only known planet with life form. I have only one Moon that orbits me. Speaking of orbiting, I orbit the sun like the other seven planets around me, excluding Pluto. Due to this orbit around the Sun, seasons will occur at different times of the year. My revolution, another word for orbit, takes 365 days to get fully around the Sun. I also rotate on my tilted axis which causes day and night. I am made up of many different layers including the crust, the mantle, the outer core, and the inner core.
