- An integer is any whole number and it's opposite. For example, -9 is an integer, but 9/0 isn't.

- By the way, absolute value is the distance a number is from zero. The absolute value of -7 is 7. The way to show absolute value is by doing |8|. This shows that you want the distance of the number from 0.

- For adding integers, if the two integers have the same sign, like they're both positive or are both negative, keep the sign hen you add them.
