- During a carnival Montresor sees fortunato and offers him a drink of some Amontillado wine.Fortunato wasn't in the correct headspace but didn't reject the offer.Montresor then tells fortunato to come to the catocombs with him
- CLIMAX
- The wine is in there
- Montresor feels insulted by fortunato and instantly wants his revenge but has to make sure he gets away with it and that fourtunato knows it was him
- FALLING ACTION
- AHHAHAHAHAHAH
- AHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
- Montresor leads fourtunato to the catacombs to finish his plan and make him think he is going to get the wine
- RESOLUTION
- Montresor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Montresor and fortunato finally get to the catacombs and there is no wine and Montresor gets fourtunato to the wall so he can start to brick him up
- Montresor is finshing up the bricks and fourtunato realizes it isn't a joke anymore he tries to scream but nobody can hear him
- Montresor finally completes the bricks and he walks away .He gets away with his revenge and nobody has been down there since
